Can Bad Behavior be Caused by a Healthy Diet?

Most of us have heard that restricting sugar can affect how a child behaves. Refined sugar and junk foods high in simple carbohydrates are known to cause sugar rushes and crashes (often playing out as hyperactivity followed by disagreeability in children). We also know that certain chemicals can directly impact brain chemistry--caffeine is an example of a stimulant that can cause jitters, anxiety, hyperactivity and insomnia. Hello readers. My name is Stacy Bowker and I am a Naturopathic Physician licensed in Washington State. I have created this blog to share information related to Natural Healthcare for children and infants. Information will range from tips for homecare of minor ailments and illnesses to a Holistic perspective on the latest research pertaining to Pediatric Medicine. I currently have a private practice in Snohomish, WA (Snohomish Valley Holistic Medicine) where I treat patients of all ages and and a variety of health conditions.
